Health for Friends History
Health for Friends was founded in 1985 by Kathy Heiple per a request from a local church. Mrs. Heiple began the part-time clinic in an old motorcycle repair shop. At that time the clinic was minimally staffed and functioned solely on the volunteer hours of local physicians. The struggling clinic eventually moved to occupy an old house on Himes, which was eventually torn down and replaced with the current brick building that is Health for Friends.
