While most nonprofit dental programs are only able to offer emergency procedures like extractions and fillings, HFF 's dental clinic has grown to more closely resemble a general dentistry practice with additional services of routine maintenance, oral education, and prosthetic work.

The dental clinic operates on a sliding-scale model with most patients eligible for the maximum 80% discount from the standard ADA regional pricing structure. These fees, in conjunction with community supporters (right), allow us to operate a more sustainable model and provide reliable and affordable access to dental care despite the high costs of dental supplies.

Services

Extraction Clinic

Every Thursday evening, under the supervision of a rotating roster of local dentists, 3rd and 4th year dental students from the University of Oklahoma perform much needed extractions for our patients at a discounted price.

Eligibility Requirements

• Adult, 18 years of age or over
• No dental insurance

General Dental Clinic

Health for Friends has two part-time dentists, two part-time dental hygienists, and two dental assistants that provide our patients with comprehensive dental care. Our general dental clinic is open Tuesday - Friday from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, closing from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm for lunch.

Eligibility Requirements

• Adult, 18 years of age or over
• Norman resident
• No dental insurance
• Income less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

To schedule a general dental appointment, new patients must submit a completed Dental Registration and History Form (available at HFF or click the link below to download), proof of Norman residence, proof of household income, and a $40 pre-payment/application fee.
